Joint City/County Landfill
As of September 30th 2009, Sunshine Canyon Landfill continues to operate six days a week. The combined City/County Landfill averages 9,000 to 10,000 tons per day Monday through Friday, and is currently predominantly operating on the City/County boundary area of the site. Saturday waste volumes average less than 3,000 tons due to reduced hours of operation.
