Sunshine Canyon maintains on-site recycling and buy-back services to the residents and businesses of Los Angeles County including:

Used Oil Recycling Center

Non-commercial generators of used automotive oil can use the landfill’s Oil Recycling Center for proper disposal purposes. Due to state regulations, used oil accepted is limited to 15 gallons per vehicle.

On-site recycling services are available at the Landfill from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at 14747 San Fernando Road in Sylmar.
